Richard Boxer

Richard Boxer has been associated with Manitou since 1999 as a client and director. Over approximately a quarter century of service, Richard made a tremendous contribution to the firm and was appointed Director Emeritus upon his resignation from the board in the spring of 2024, remaining a lifetime ex-officio member. Prior to his involvement with Manitou, Richard built extensive business experience as both an owner-operator and investor, beginning his career in manufacturing before serving as President of Buckingham Capital Corporation, a company focused on investing in early-stage Canadian businesses. Richard is a graduate of Queen's University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts, and subsequently completed an MBA from York University. Richard holds the CPA, CA designation and has served on the boards of numerous public and not-for-profit organizations.
