Jim Brennan joined Manitou in 2023 and is an Investment Counsellor and member of the Investment Management team. In addition to leading the management of the Manitou Income and Total Return Yield Funds, Jim works with clients to customize portfolios that reflect their overall return objectives, cash-flow needs, and risk-tolerance levels. He has over 25 years of expertise in the development of investment solutions for both institutional and retail clients. Prior to joining Manitou, Jim developed his expertise across independent investment boutiques and multinational firms including JPMorgan Chase, BMO Nesbitt Burns, and Salomon Brothers/Citibank, working in London, New York, and Toronto. Jim is a graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Arts, and subsequently completed an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
